JACKSON, Wyo. — A significant winter storm will bring snow to the region beginning Thursday night and set to increase through the day on Friday and into Friday night. As the storm intensifies moderate to heavy snow will be possible. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 6 inches possible, with 6 to 12 inches in the mountains.
NOAA has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Friday into Friday night.
The lifts have also started spinning at Grand Targhee Resort with today marking the opening Day of the 2019/20 ski season. Shoshone and Papoose lifts will be open with sole access to the Big Horn trail. Lift tickets are available for purchase at the Ticket Booth Window for $10.00.
