TETON VILLAGE, Wyo. — Jackson Hole Mountain Resort opened its upper mountain lifts today, Dec. 18.

While backcountry gates remain temporarily closed, Sublette, Thunder, Bridger Gondola, Marmot and Casper Lifts opened up to skiers and snowboarders for the first time this season.

Snowmaking operations are underway across the mountain as crews take advantage of the cold temperatures.

The Tram remains closed to skiers and snowboarders but is open for sightseeing.
