TETON VILLAGE, Wyo. — The new Thunder Lift at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) opened this afternoon for a soft launch ahead of the planned season opener scheduled for tomorrow, Dec. 10.

The lift is set to open at 9:15 a.m. according to the resort’s website.

Those who made it out to the village today were rewarded with no lines and fresh tracks off the newly installed lift which opened around 1 p.m.

JHMR is reporting 4 inches of snow since 6 a.m. Another 3-6″ of snow is expected tomorrow and 2-4″ on Sunday.
