JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton County Search and Rescue’s helicopter team checked and restocked rescue caches in the southern Tetons, yesterday May 27.

The team traveled to three different locations to survey the rescue caches. “Remember that if you encounter a rescue cache on your mountain adventures, please leave them be as they are intended to save lives,” said Teton County Search and Rescue in an Instagram post.

The caches are intended to provide rescue crews with equipment if a rescue is required in remote areas.
