JACKSON, Wyo. — Love is in the air!

A graceful trumpeter swan came in for a landing at the National Elk Refuge on Thursday evening. Buckrail photographer Nick Sulzer was there to capture the moment as the pink sunset reflected off of the water in time for Valentine’s Day.

Trumpeters typically mate for life, according to the National Audubon Society.
