JACKSON, Wyo. — How about some cake to accompany that dance music?

EDM giant Steve Aoki made a triumphant return to Jackson on Wednesday night, playing to a packed house at Center for the Arts. As was the case for his 2023 show, Aoki and his team came prepared with four cakes to be launched into the audience while his song “Cake Face” played.

Aoki took the stage around 11 p.m. after opening sets by local musicians DJ Crayon and Cam Rood. In addition to his original music, Aoki entertained with remixes of millennial classics including “Iris” by Goo Goo Dolls,” “The Reason” by Hoobastank and “I Write Sins Not Tragedies” by Panic! at the Disco.

Audience members represented a huge age range.

Aoki shouted out his love for the local ski and snowboard scene, calling Jackson Hole the best ski resort in the U.S.

“I always want to go shred it up in the f***in’ mountains,” Aoki, an avid snowboarder, told the crowd.
