JACKSON, Wyo. — Steve Aoki performed last Thursday, Jan. 12 at Center for the Arts in Jackson to a sold-out crowd.

Local photographer Karissa Akin was there to capture all the moments.

The show was a first in a few ways; Aoki’s first show in Wyoming and for The Center, the first time in recent history that the floor-level chairs were removed to make room for dancing.

Aoki caked a number of fans during the show, a tradition he started in the mid-2000s. Local talent was also on full display; DJ Rosie and DJ VertOne opened the show.

Check out a full recap of the night and more on why Aoki throws cakes at his fans and the local baker who made the “cake moment” possible.
