JACKSON, Wyo. — Fiery bluegrass-country duo Trey Hensley and Rob Ickes burned it down last night for a sold out Silver Dollar ‘Showroom Session.’ Hensley is a guitar prodigy who made his Grand Ole Opry debut with Earl Scruggs and Marty Stuart at the age of eleven, while Ickes is a 15-time IBMA Dobro Player of the Year. They opened and closed the set with Grateful Dead tunes “Brown Eyed Women” and “Friend of the Devil” alongside selections from their three studio albums and Stevie Ray Vaughn’s “Pride and Joy.” Featured here is a snippet of their encore rendition of  “Georgia on a Fast Train,” first recorded and released by Billy Joe Shaver in 1973.
