WILSON, Wyo. — On Friday, Dec. 20, R Park’s Winter Solstice Celebration and Lantern Trail illuminated the afternoon.

Buckrail photographer Nick Sulzer was there to capture the festive activities, which included sledding, comfort food and a glowing lantern walk, on the shortest day of the year.

There were over 275 handcrafted lanterns created by students, which will remain in R Park through Jan. 9, 2025.

Dogs are welcome in R Park but must be leashed at all times.
