Buckrail photographer Nick Sulzer spotted a pair of moose hanging out up near Kelly on Monday, illuminated by golden sunlight and smoky skies.
Like bears, moose are starting to bulk up ahead of winter.
These herbivores stock up on nutrients and rely on their fat storage during the coldest months, when food is scarce.
Big game species are seeking food sources close to the road as some plants dry up. Keep an eye out for crossing animals when driving.
