GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK — Hear that ghostly whistling sound?
It wasn’t a paranormal encounter — it was a bull elk soliciting some company. Buckrail photographer Nick Sulzer found a lone bull elk strutting through Grand Teton National Park this week.

Local elk are reaching the tail end of mating season, so enjoy these last bugles of the season before the ungulates quiet down again.
Keep an eye out for elk activity when driving, especially at night.
