TETON VILLAGE, Wyo. — Kings and Queens of Corbet’s went down today, Feb. 17 at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.

While bluebird skies peeked out at times, the conditions at the top of the couloir and in Tensleep Bowl were reportedly extremely windy and cold, creating low visibility at times.

The 23 skiers and riders managed the variable snow conditions, with less emphasis on the drop-in compared to past years. After navigating the couloir, competitors laid it all on the line on the massive kicker at the bottom. Conditions varied from pockets of powder to firm sheets of ice.

Local snowboarder, Cameron Fitzpatrick dropped first this morning.

The riders will choose the King and Queen with the winners crowned tomorrow night. New this year, is the People’s Choice Award. Fans can place votes for their favorite rider of the day.
