TETON VILLAGE, Wyo. — And so the season begins! The slope of hope bore fruit and yesterday, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) opened for its 60th winter season.

Buckrail photographer Nick Sulzer stopped by the resort to snap some photos of eager skiers and riders on chairlifts and mingling around the base area.

The START bus doesn’t resume its full winter schedule until Saturday, Dec. 6, but some skiers and riders did use the public transport.

With a snowy outlook, many are looking forward to a promising winter season. There’s more snow on the way tonight!
