JACKSON, Wyo. — Crews are on the scene to suppress the Bare Fire, a newly sparked wildland fire on the Big Piney Ranger District of the Bridger-Teton National Forest (BTNF).

BTNF announced the fire Tuesday afternoon, noting that it is located north of Bare Pass and east of Bare Creek.

“Teton Interagency Fire engines and firefighting staff, as well as Sublette County resources, are on scene,” BTNF posted to social media. “Air attack, two type 3 helicopters, smokejumpers, and a 10-person fire module and fire engine have been ordered to help suppress the fire.”
