JACKSON, Wyo. — It was a busy weekend for political expression in Jackson Hole, with a rally supporting Kamala Harris unfolding on Town Square on Friday, Aug. 9, the night before former President Donald Trump visited town for a private fundraiser.
Buckrail photographer Nick Sulzer was on the scene Friday night to capture the crowd at the rally.

Natalia D. Macker, vice-chairwoman of the Teton County Board of County Commissioners and an organizer of the event, delivered remarks to attendees.
“We are all gathered here because we know freedom and opportunity are what America is all about,” Macker said. “We are a community and country that cares,” she added.

Participants ranged in age. Some drove over from Idaho. Many passing cars honked their horns in support, which elicited whoops from rally-goers.
In addition to Macker, who is on the ballot for the county commission, local candidates Arne Jorgensen, Len Carlman and Kevin Regan were spotted at the rally.
