JACKSON, Wyo. — Happy birthday, America!

The Fourth of July is always a bustling occasion in Jackson and its surrounding communities. This year, a little rain made for a slightly calmer holiday, but there was still plenty going on.

Buckrail photographer Nick Sulzer captured a patriotic display on Town Square as the annual Fourth of July Parade rolled through downtown.

Teton County Search and Rescue celebrated the big day with a special appearance by its helicopter at the parade.

See slide 6 below for a video of the flyover.

When it came time for fireworks, Sulzer headed down to the Palisades Reservoir to check out their display, which did not disappoint.

Fireworks were plentiful across the Wydaho region for the holiday. Check out this bonus firework display from Teton Springs on July 3.
