DRIGGS, Idaho — The scarecrow competition in Driggs is fierce.

Hosted by the Downtown Driggs Association (DDA), the scarecrow contest for local businesses and nonprofits is in its seventh year.

Organizations in Driggs have put together an array of scarecrow scenes for the friendly community competition. Creativity is on full display with scarecrows, ghosts, skeletons and even a few blind mice.

Take a stroll through downtown to see all the scarecrow creations, and don’t forget to stop at Mugler Plaza to see the exhibitions by those who don’t have a storefront.

Community voting is open through Oct. 31 on the DDA website or via the QR code that accompanies each scarecrow. The Downtown Driggs Trick or Treat will take place on Oct. 31 from 3 to 5 p.m. and the scarecrow winners will be announced on Nov. 5.
