WILSON, Wyo. — In recognition of Trail Creek Ranch’s matriarch Elizabeth “Betty” Woolsey, the Jackson Hole Ski & Snowboard Club hosted the 2019 Betty Woolsey Classic race Saturday, December 28.
Frigid temps didn’t keep racers away. Around 80 cross-country skiers gathered at Trail Creek and participated in either a 10k, 5k, 3k, or 1/2k race. A crowd favorite was three-year-old Stanley Sehnert, pictured here with his dad, Sam. Stanley may not have been the fastest racer — he finished the 1/2k race in 9:10 — but he was the youngest and most certainly the cutest. Thanks, Adam Wirth, for the capture.
