SNAPPED: Bear catches a nice nap in a tree Tree Jackson Buckrail - Jackson Hole, news

JACKSON HOLE, WYO – One big reason to hire a professional wild

life guide is they really do spot more wildlife than you probably would on your own. They know when to stop listen and look.

For instance, how many times have you maybe walked right underneath a tree without thinking to look up? You might have missed that eagle, owl, or…bear!

Jackson Hole EcoTour Adventures caught sight of this cinnamon black bear just as he was waking up from a nap in a dead lodgepole pine.

“Black bears, especially juveniles like this one, often find safe nap spots high up in trees,” said a guide for EcoTour Adventures. “We watched this one wake up, stretch and scratch, before down climbing and walking off into the woods during a multi-day tour over the weekend.”
