JACKSON, Wyo. — Artists had just 90 minutes on Saturday to bring their visions to life at the Jackson Hole Quick Draw.
The Quick Draw is a staple event of the annual Fall Arts Festival. Some artists donned puffy coats, hats and warm boots for the occasion, as autumn weather descended upon the valley.
Art pieces created during the Quick Draw were inspired by the landscape, wildlife and local Western heritage.
Spectators milled around Town Square to watch the artists attempt to complete their works. Directly after the timed event, the pieces of art were offered for sale at a live auction, with proceeds benefitting the artists, as well as community efforts by the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce.
