JACKSON, Wyo. — Signs of spring are currently far and few between in the Tetons. With the valley still blanketed in snow and more on the way, Jackson’s scenes look a little different than they did last year at this time.
By the end of March 2022, the season’s low-country snow pack had just about melted entirely. There were open pathways and dry pastures, folks were recreating on the Snake River and cycling in Grand Teton National Park. Today, many spring operations and openings have yet to begin with winter very much extending its stay.
