JACKSON, Wyo. — Snake River Fund is once again partnering with JH Kayak Club to bring Snake River Fest 2026 to Jackson Hole’s river-loving community and all who have found joy and inspiration from the waters of northwest Wyoming. Now in its fifth year, festivities will run from June 5 to June 7 at venues throughout the watershed.

Snake River Fest was established to celebrate our region’s federally designated Wild & Scenic streams. It is also a call to action, informing the public of the many challenges the watershed faces, including potential access limitations, water quality issues, increasing stream side development, inadequate flow management, and the implications of climate change, and honoring the numerous nonprofits, agencies, businesses, and concerned members of the community who are fighting for the ecological health of, and public access to, our waters.

Those who love the Snake River have much to be proud of. Snake River Fest is where we come together to celebrate that pride.

Festivities

June 5 – The Snake River Fest Block Party & Stewardship Social (4 p.m. to sundown)

Held at Phil Baux Park and sponsored by Dave Hansen Whitewater, this gathering gives attendees the opportunity to connect with the river community while enjoying live music by the Jackson Six, food trucks, beer tents, raffle prizes, interactive booths, and local vendors.

June 6 – Kids Fishing Day

Spend the morning at R-Park with the Wyoming Game and Fish Department as they host this family friendly event centered on learning and fun.
