WILSON, Wyo. — Heads up, late-night drivers. Expect limited access across the Snake River Bridge this week.
The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) announced Monday that night work on the Snake River Bridge is scheduled to be carried out on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, Aug. 20 and 21, from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.
WYDOT and Ames Construction crews will install roadside signage in the area. Due to space constraints near the bridge, the eastbound lane will be closed to allow for the work, and alternating one-way traffic will be conducted by flaggers.
“Teton County is still seeing some peak summer traffic congestion, so drivers are warned to plan their travels accordingly, as well as to make sure they obey all roadside signs, traffic control devices and closures,” WYDOT stated via press release.
