JACKSON, Wyo. — Smelling something funny near High School Butte?
Jackson Hole Fire/EMS Battalion Chief Brian Carr confirmed to Buckrail that a gas leak was reported near Hi Country Drive and Montana Lane on Tuesday afternoon. Carr said a construction vehicle tagged one of the gas main lines.
“It’s pretty stinky down here,” Carr said.
The area has been secured, and Fire/EMS is working with Lower Valley Energy to control the leak. Carr said he was feeling comfortable with the situation, saying there wasn’t a fear of a hazardous environment or an explosion.
