JACKSON, Wyo. — The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) announced that it will be working with crews from Ames Construction near the new Snake River Bridge on Friday, and one lane of traffic is expected to close.

According to a press release, the construction crews will install a large directional sign near the intersection of WY22 and WY390 on Aug. 8. One of the two westbound lanes on WY22 will be closed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. while the sign installation happens.

“Due to the nature of the work, we will have to close the lane,” said WYDOT Resident Engineer Bob Hammond via press release. “But we are planning to have it all done before the evening commute.”

WYDOT warns that unpredictable weather and other variables may necessitate last-minute changes to the schedule.
