TETON COUNTY, Wyo. — Teton County can expect long-bearded lawmen thanks to the health-minded program “No Shave November.”
The men of the Teton County Sherrif’s Office have gathered proudly behind the web-based nonprofit, by committing to the cultivation of bountiful facial hair in support of men’s health.
The currently clean-shaven men will set aside their shavers in the hopes that hairy faces equate to donations in the name of cancer awareness
Hailing from the Chicagoland area, No Shave November began in 2009 and examples the often hilarious and always philanthropic initiatives of popular ‘Mo-vember,’ a month of drooping mustaches and flowing beards all grown to fortify cancer education, research, and prevention.
This year’s beneficiaries include Prevent Cancer Foundation, Fight Colorectal Cancer and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
