JACKSON, Wyo. — Please vote for me for Wyoming House District 23 Representative. Teton County is a unique place with diverse residents, all holding many different expectations for our community and our future.
Over time, we have lost our close associations with other counties, having shifted to a more global culture. In effect, we have been sidelined in Cheyenne by sending representatives who hold extreme values. Our current representative has a voting record that reflects only 13% alignment with the rest of the state. That is not team playing.
Send me to Cheyenne. We will be visible again. We can rejoin the legislative family with a warm Wyoming welcome!
I bring capability, credentials, and commitment to the well-being of all. I stand for better housing, managed growth out of chaos, less spending and taxation, and respectful and protective conservation of lands.
I will champion an “all of the above” energy vision statewide to stabilize, diversify and grow our economy. We will create a future for our children and grandchildren so they can stay in the state, have good jobs, build homes and realize the dreams of tomorrow.
I will guard the Wyoming Permanent Mineral Trust fund from those who view it as a casual rainy day source for expenditures. I will work to ensure taxes are limited and closely tied to critical, demonstrated budgeted needs and that revenues and investments are managed with recognized professional expertise.
I will put continual pressure in our state government to remain close to the governed and to keep decisions on taxes and spending close to the people.
Finally, (I hope you are all reading this…) I am ethical, accountable, and transparent. I am a hard-working South Dakota native, having spent the last 47 years of my life in the Yellowstone/Teton region. My “extreme engineer” husband and I have two extraordinary children, we have created our own wealth (wealth being a relative term in Teton County), and we have achieved truly storied careers in energy and government.
