JACKSON, Wyo. — A report released by the Jackson Hole Airport indicates a heavier volume of passengers flew to the valley in September than any previous month since COVID precautions began drastically impacting flights in April.

The report shows that the load factor for September was 73.16%, showing a 5.8% increase from the August load factor, and over a 67% increase since April 2020. Although August had more flights than September (496 compared to 344) the month saw fewer passengers per flight.

A load factor can be calculated by dividing the number of passengers by the number of seats.
