JACKSON, Wyo. — The Teton County Health Department (TCHD) will host two walk-in Covid-19 and flu vaccine clinics at the Senior Center of Jackson Hole on Friday, Sept. 27 and Friday, Oct. 4 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Individuals can choose to get both vaccines at the same time or just one.

“With the respiratory illness season approaching and cooler weather bringing more people indoors, the best way to reduce your risk and the potentially serious complications of Covid-19 and the flu is to get vaccinated every year,” TCHD said in the announcement.

High-dose flu vaccine will be available for individuals 65 years of age and older, as supplies last. Regular flu vaccines will be available for those 60 to 64 years of age. This year’s flu vaccine is trivalent, meaning it is formulated to protect against three different flu viruses.

The 2024-2025 updated Covid-19 vaccine will be available for those who are eligible. Insurance cards and Medicare and Medicare supplemental cards will be required. More information on Teton County Health Department’s accepted in-network health insurances can be seen here.

Dates for the regular seasonal vaccine clinic, where community members over the age of six months old can receive a Covid-19 and/or flu vaccine vaccine, will be announced soon, said TCHD.
