CASPER, Wyo. — U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-WY) has shared his opinion regarding the news that the Kemmerer family intends to sell Jackson Hole Mountain Resort to local buyers.
“Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is regularly named one of the best ski resorts in North America,” Barrasso said in a statement. “This is in no small part due to the decades of work and investment that the Kemmerer family has committed to make the resort and the Jackson community a world-class destination.”
He went on: “We continue to invite people from around the world to enjoy Wyoming’s natural wonders and beautiful landscapes. While the mountain is most famous for its skiing, it also offers outstanding summer activities including hiking, mountain biking, fly fishing and more. I’m glad this iconic Wyoming resort will remain family-owned and in capable, local hands.”
Barrasso’s comments come on the heels of U.S Senator Cynthia Lummis’ (R-WY) remarks about the sale.
