Lauren Alaina to headline nation’s only all-female country weekend
JACKSON, Wyo. — Cowgirls at The Cowboy, the nation’s only all-female country music weekend, returns to Jackson Hole and the stage of the iconic Million Dollar Cowboy Bar Oct. 6 to 8 for the second consecutive year.
Nashville-based artist and Jackson Hole favorite, Jenny Tolman is once again curating the event designed to celebrate strong women in music. This year will feature six of the top established and emerging female singers and songwriters in recent country music history.
Lauren Alaina, the vocal powerhouse and former New Female Artist of the Year, who first came to national attention on “American Idol,” will headline Sunday’s closing night. With an infectious, bubbly personality surpassed only by her incredible vocals, Alaina has scored four No. 1 singles, including the platinum-certified “Road Less Traveled,” the 7x platinum “What Ifs” and the 2x platinum “One Beer.” Her latest release, “Thicc as Thieves,” a sassy duet with Lainey Wilson, is the summer’s feel-good anthem. Alaina has toured with the likes of Alan Jackson, Martina McBride, Jason Aldean and Cole Swindell. Her full-band show at Cowgirls will mark her debut visit to Jackson Hole.

On Friday night’s Songwriter Round, Tolman will be joined by ’90s hitmaker Deana Carter (CMA Single of the Year “Strawberry Wine”) and Ashley Monroe (No. 1 hit-writer for Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert and others, and one-third of Pistol Annies, the female super-group she formed with Lambert and Angaleena Presley). The artists will sing their biggest songs and share the stories behind them.
Saturday night will feature two breakout female artists with full bands. Tolman and her band will make a triumphant return to the venue for the fourth consecutive year. Co-headlining that night will be Tigirlily Gold, the fresh-faced duo that has become 2023’s darlings of country radio. Comprised of North Dakota-born sisters, Kendra and Krista, Tigirlily Gold just wrapped up their first cross-country tour, visiting 22 cities to perform their forthcoming Monument Records release that features their latest single “Shoot
Tequila,” which has amassed more than 50 million streams on social media.
Tickets will range from $25 – $350 and are sold by nightly shows or by 3-day weekend passes. Tickets will be available on Friday, Sept. 1 at 10AM MT and may be purchased online at cowboybarjh.com. The dance floor will be open for the Saturday and Sunday night shows.
