JACKSON, Wyo. — Fairgoers should look out for websites selling fraudulent tickets to the Teton County Fair, the Teton County Fair Board (TCFB) warns.
TCFB has become aware of several sites that have sold people fake fair tickets. The only legitimate way to buy tickets is either online through third-party ticketing agency Etix or in person at the Teton County Fair Office at 305 W Snow King Ave.
“It’s unfortunate that there are sites selling tickets that aren’t valid for our events,” Teton County Fair and Fairgrounds Manager Rachel Grimes said in a statement. “If you aren’t buying your tickets through the Fair Office or through Etix, unfortunately, they are not legitimate.”
Tickets to the Figure 8 Races, the fair’s most popular evening event, are sold out, so any online sales to that event are fraudulent, TCFB notes.
