JACKSON, Wyo. — Election season is heating up once more! Five upcoming general election forums will give the community a chance to get to know the candidates in each race.
Presented by the League of Women Voters of Wyoming, Teton County Library, the Jackson Hole News&Guide, KHOL Radio and Buckrail, these forums provide the opportunity to get to know the people behind the names on the ballot. Candidates will participate in a Q&A moderated by media partners, including questions from the audience.
First up: The candidates running for the Board of County Commissioners will take the stage on Wednesday, Sept. 30. The next night, hear from folks running for the non-partisan board positions for Teton County School District, St. John’s Health and Teton Conservation District.
As October gets underway, hear from candidates for Town Council (Wednesday, Oct. 7), Teton County Sheriff and Coroner (Thursday, Oct. 8), and House Rep. for District 23 and County Assessor (Wednesday, Oct. 14). Learn about the Wyoming People’s Initiative to Limit Property Tax ballot proposition at the Oct. 14 forum, too.
The events begin at 6 p.m. and run for approximately 90 minutes. The forums will also be recorded, with videos available online at TCLib.org after the event.
Election day is Nov. 3.
