JACKSON, Wyo. — Wondering what all that morning traffic was about? The Flat Creek Bridge construction project has been slowing down traffic in and out of town but this morning things were even slower.
Just before 10 a.m this morning an RV struck the median in the westbound lane. The RV caught on the dividing bollard, ripping apart the underside of the vehicle.
According to the Jackson Police, there were no injuries and only the RV was involved in the accident. No citations were given. The road was closed for about 40 minutes so the RV could be towed into the staples parking lot.
The construction project on Flat Creek Bridge is still ongoing with single lanes of traffic heading in both directions. The second phase of the project began on Sept. 15.
