SUBLETTE COUNTY, WYO – The locally popular organic farm Wyomatoes was raided last month by Sublette County authorities acting on a tip. What they found was a lot more than tomatoes.
On August 25, the Sublette County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Division of Criminal Investigations (DCI), executed a search warrant at 1298 Middle Piney Road in Big Piney, Wyoming. The investigation was a result of information obtained about a possible marijuana grow operation at that location.
Upon execution of the search warrant, law enforcement located approximately 50 pounds of processed marijuana, approximately 300 processed marijuana plants, as well as $63,117 in US currency.
Three individuals were arrested yesterday on felony drug charges. They are Cristian Omar Mendez-Garcia, Sergio Eleazar Huerta-Garcia and Stewart M. Doty—all residents of Big Piney.
