WYDOT Press Release
WILSON, Wyo. — On July 7, the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) announced that geotechnical drilling work alongside WY22 will reduce the highway to a single lane of traffic beginning Monday, July 10.
The work will take place between Coal Creek trailhead and the Idaho State Line, mileposts 13.5 to 17.2. According to the WYDOT press release, work will take place Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with potential intermittent work on the weekends. The single lane of traffic will be controlled by flagging operations.
The subsurface investigations will be performed by Jorgensen Associates, Inc. on behalf of Teton County for future Teton Mobility Corridor Improvements. Crews anticipate completing the work by July 31, weather permitting.
WYDOT warns drivers to expect delays and plan travels accordingly.
