The Town of Jackson’s Public Works Department and Western Municipal Construction will begin road excavation for the installation of underground utilities associated with the Cache Creek Tube project.

This project will involve the closure of East Deloney Avenue between North Willow Street to the alley east of Center Street as well as the closure of North King Street between East Deloney Avenue to the construction access fencing at 112 Center Street.

Throughout this construction project, the Deloney START Bus stop will be relocated one block east of Willow Street. All passenger pick-ups will occur at this location. The facilities in the Deloney parking lot will remain open throughout this project.

Access to the East Deloney Avenue parking lot will remain open from North Willow Street. Please avoid walking through the construction zone from this parking lot. Two-way traffic on North King Street from Gill Avenue will be open to local traffic only toward the construction access at 112 Center Street.

Pedestrian access will be limited in this area. Please plan an alternate walk/bike route around the work zone. Please plan your daily travels ahead of time and expect delays. Please be aware of, and obey all construction notification, closures, barricades, detour and parking restriction signage in the vicinity of the construction zone as it is there for your safety and the safety of the construction workers.
