JACKSON, Wyo. —Perhaps you have fond memories of dancing as a child, or feel a tickle of curiosity when you see a ballet dancer leap and bend? At Dancers’ Workshop, we believe that the magic and joy of dance aren’t reserved for the young or professionals. Dance has the power to deliver myriad positive impacts on both your physical and mental health — no matter your age or previous experience!

As the seasons begin to change, what better time to incorporate a new form of movement into your fitness lineup? Exploring the world of dance will reward you more deeply than you could imagine. Not only will you improve your cardiovascular health, flexibility, and endurance, but you’ll also gain more robust balance, spatial awareness, and motor accuracy. On top of that mountain of physical benefits, you might also enjoy more energy, clarity, happiness, and improved memory. Ready to leap in?

Sign up now for our Adult Modern Dance Workshop — led by the phenomenal Charlotte Landreau. An ideal class for beginners, Charlotte will teach students the rudimentary movements that are the foundation for classical modern dance focusing on contractions, spirals, basic floor work, and elemental concepts of space, time, and force. There are plenty of studies out there reinforcing that exploring dance — even if you’ve never tried before! — delivers a whole bevy of physical and emotional bonuses.

Beginning on Feb. 28, the Adult Modern Workshop will meet each Monday at 5:15 p.m. in Studio 3 for five consecutive weeks. “Looking for a fun dance class after a long day at work? Search no more!” says Charlotte. “Grab a friend or two who are also dance-curious and come learn about a new way to move and enhance your overall wellbeing.”

Spaces are limited, and pre-registration online is preferred or call (307) 733-6398. Reserve your spot now!
