JACKSON, Wyo. – Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation will be opening seasonal restrooms at town and county parks starting Wednesday, May 1, with the exception of the Powderhorn Park restroom.

According to Parks and Recreation, staff discovered winter damage to the Powderhorn Park restroom, delaying its opening. Staff is currently working to resolve the issue but does not have a firm date for when the restroom will be accessible to the public. The public will be notified when the restroom has opened for the season.

Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation apologizes for any inconvenience and appreciates the public’s patience.

In spite of cold overnight lows, the rest of the Parks’ facilities, including Town restrooms, will be open and accessible this week.

Restrooms are open daily to the public from dusk to dawn. Several restrooms have
automatic locks or are locked and unlocked by a contractor at 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. each
day.

Parks restrooms experience a high volume of use by locals, visitors and seasonal
campers during summer months. If there is an issue regarding a restroom, the public
is encouraged to contact Parks and Recreation. For questions or concerns, contact Parks Superintendent, Andy Erskine at aerskine@tetoncountywy.gov, or Senior Facilities Supervisor, Cody Daigle, at cdaigle@tetoncountywy.gov.
