JACKSON, Wyo. — Registration has gone live for the Latina Empowerment Circle, a free nine-week program for Latina women in the community.

This is the second annual meeting of the program, which is run by the Teton County Health Department, Teton Behavioral Therapy and the Community Safety Network. Weekly meetings will focus on wellness-related topics including healthy and abusive relationships, sexuality, self-care, cultural pressure and “the experiences of a Latina woman,” per the press release.

Meals and childcare will be available at every session.

“This is a supportive group and provides a space to learn and share conversations, stories and perspectives,” the press release said, also noting that “this educational series will be guided by Latinas in a space where everything will be in Spanish.”

The registration form for the Circle is available here. Contact Odalis Avila at odalis.avila@wyo.gov with questions.
