Raise a glass to Snow King’s first annual Oktoberfest

JACKSON, WY –  Snow King Mountain Resort is ringing in the autumn season with their first annual Oktoberfest and Locals Appreciation weekend set for September 13-15. The weekend coincides with Snow King’s 80th birthday summer season. The weekend will kick off with an Oktoberfest celebration at the Rafferty Center on September 13th from 5 to 8 pm featuring live music by Aaron Davis and the Mystery Machine and craft beer from Roadhouse, Snake River, Upslope, Stillwest, Black Tooth, Lander, Grand Teton, Wildlife and Melvin breweries.

$25 gets you 4 beer/food tokens, an 80th Anniversary Pint Glass, and one ride on the Cowboy Coaster. Party-goers who buy online up to 24 hours in advance will get an extra token. The whole weekend (Friday through Sunday) is Locals Appreciation weekend with “Buy One Get One Free” (BOGO) on all activities. This is a great opportunity to come celebrate the end of summer with the family and take advantage of some big savings. Big King Passes or a spot on the Treetop Adventure can be reserved online for this weekend, using the code BOGO19.

After the weekend, hours will change to a more limited schedule for the Summit Scenic Lift, miniature golf, and maze. They will all be open from 10 am to 5 pm daily. The Cowboy Coaster and Treetop Adventure will be open weekends through the end of September. All activities close for the season on September 29.

September 15 is also the cut off for early season pricing on Winter Season Passes and Uphill Passes. Local Kid’s Season-long Ski and Snowboard Programs purchased by September 15 include a FREE season pass upgrade for participants. Passes and Program registration will be available on-site during Octoberfest and Local Appreciation Weekend.

Snow King Mountain Resort offers their thanks to all of our friends here in Jackson that have made it a great summer on Snow King Mountain!
