Putting the ART in pARTy: #WonderWednesday Buckrail - Jackson Hole, news

This week’s DailyWonder event picks offer something for everyone, from the young angler-in-training to the aspiring playwright.

Get kids into the ancient art of fly tying with a free after-school class from High County Outfitters, offered every Thursday until Spring Break.

And don’t miss Thursday’s quintessential art party: Wallpaper 2018 at Teton Art Lab. Find more than 100 pieces from at least 23 artists while you sample food and drinks from the valley’s culinary creatives. All proceeds benefit the Art Lab’s artist-in-residence program that connects our community to the international art world.

Move into the weekend with music from A-Mac and the Height at The Mangy Moose Saloon, or stay in town for The Motet at Pink Garter Theatre. Both Colorado bands give shows Friday and Saturday nights.

On Saturday, tickets are still available for the matinee of Off Square Theatre’s wildly popular production of Beauty and the Beast Jr. featuring a local cast of 98 youth performers.

If you want to try your own hand at penning a play, you’ll want to contact a new playwriting lab called First Folio led by Charley Daveler that meets twice a month at Teton County Library.
