JACKSON, Wyo. — The Wyoming Game and Fish Department (WGFD) will hold a public meeting to gather public input on changes to hunting permit regulations on Monday, June 24 at the Jackson Game and Fish Regional Office at 5 p.m.

The WGFD has opened a comment period to discuss these regulations:

  • Chapter 28, Regulation governing big or trophy game animal or game bird or gray wolf damage claims 
  • Chapter 44, Regulation for issuance of licenses, permits, stamps, tags, preference points and competitive raffle chances 

Game and Fish is hosting eight public meetings across Wyoming to discuss the regulation proposals. 

Written comments are accepted until Tuesday, Aug. 6 at 5 p.m. online, at public meetings or by mailing to the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, Regulations 3030 Energy Lane Casper, WY 82604. 

Written comments will be presented to the Game and Fish Commission prior to the public hearing in September in Douglas.
