Public buildings in town will open after holiday weekend

JACKSON, Wyo. — The Town of Jackson plans to reopen public buildings on Tuesday, May 26.

Social distancing measures will be in place as buildings reopen and the public is encouraged to continue conducting business via alternate methods whenever possible. Some departments will be requiring appointments to meet with staff, please call ahead or check the website for additional information.

The public is also encouraged to utilize the drop box located outside of the Town Hall for utility payments. Town Council meetings will continue to be hosted via WebEx and open to the public virtually. The community will be able to participate in council meetings online or make comment in person in the Council Chambers while meetings are in progress, under appropriate social distancing parameters.

If your business must be conducted in-person, consider the following:

  • use of cloth facial coverings is encouraged when in town buildings
  • whenever possible send only one person from your household to conduct business
  • when in town buildings please follow the signs and other prompts for lines and proper social distancing
