JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton County Board of County Commissioner Luther Propst is running for reelection.
“I am running for re-election to continue working to protect this community from the negative impacts of unbridled growth, to protect our water quality and wildlife, to address traffic congestion with real solutions, and to find ways to house our workers,” Propst said in an email to Buckrail.
“We have a number of workforce housing projects in the pipeline but we must do more. That also means we must distinguish between housing proposals that help address our housing crisis from those proposals that only make the situation worse. With my experience, I know the difference and I am not afraid to make tough decisions,” Propst said.
Propst was elected to the board in 2018.
According to his website, Propst is the chair of the board of the Outdoor Alliance and serves on the board for George B. Storer Foundation, a Jackson-based foundation that deploys grants for conservation, early childhood environmental education, climate change mitigation and sustainable community development.
