WYOMING – The Wyoming Arts Council and the UW Art Museum are offering a follow up phone-in with artist, educator, artists advocate, and editor Sharon Louden on Wednesday, Dec. 18 from 10am to noon.
Louden, who currently has a site-specific installation in the lobby of the UW Art Museum entitled “Windows at the University of Wyoming,” recently conducted a statewide professional development session in September for Wyoming visual artists.
Louden is continuing that conversation with Wyoming artists by holding a free follow-up teleconference via Zoom. This follow up conversation is open to all artists, not just those who attended her presentation in September. Topics covered at this session will include artist resumes and bios, websites, and artist statements. There will also be time to ask Sharon questions. To join the call, use the Zoom link. Zoom is free to use and should download and open automatically on a tablet or computer.
Louden graduated with a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and an MFA from Yale University School of Art. Her work has been exhibited in numerous venues including the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, the Drawing Center, Carnegie Mellon University, Weisman Art Museum, National Gallery of Art, Birmingham Museum of Art, Weatherspoon Art Museum and the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art.
