JACKSON, Wyo. — Over the next week, residents and voters can watch live-streams of candidate forums for the Aug. 16 primary election.
Thanks to a collaboration between Teton County Library, League of Women Voters, Jackson Hole News & Guide, KHOL 89.1, Buckrail and WyoFile, candidate statements and debates will be available for free online via Zoom and YouTube. All live-streaming links are available here.
Representatives from the local media will ask questions on a variety of topics and policies for the candidates to answer, and a member from the League of Women Voters will moderate each forum. The public may submit comments before the forums by emailing engage@jhnewsandguide.com.
“We aim to give the Jackson community accurate information concerning candidates, local issues and how policies that affect our daily lives are created,” says Leah Shlachter, the Adult Program Coordinator at Teton County Library.
