HOBACK, Wyo. — If you’re wondering why there’s no power in Hoback this morning, it’s part of the plan. Lower Valley Energy (LVE) said they are currently working on a planned power outage for maintenance in the Hoback area this morning.

“Usually, we do them for maintenance reasons,” said Brian Tanabe from LVE. “So if we have to replace a pole or replace wire we cut the power and call ahead to those who will be affected and notify them of the event and give them a window of time that we think it will take.”

LVE says that the power was cut around 9 a.m. this morning and is expected to return before 11:30 a.m.
