Pica’s Marg Cup night one

JACKSON, Wyo. — They came, they raced, some conquered.

Jackson Hole Ski & Snowboard Club’s 11th Annual Pica’s Margarita Cup kicked off Monday, January 27 with the GS race. As a team, World Domination stayed true to their name and came in first with 74 points. But the Buckrail Newsies, sponsored by yours truly, came in close behind with 72 points. Rounding out the podium was the Bronc Collective with 60 points.

Individually, World Domination’s Chris Wheeler had the fastest time of 47:06. He beat Buckrail Newsie Reed Drechsel by a fraction of a second and Cafe Genevieve’s Ryan Walters by six-tenths of a second.

Annie Rendall was the fastest woman with a time of 48.66, again representing World Domination. She was followed by Buckrail Newsies Ashley Babcock and Lexie Dreschell, respectively.
