JACKSON, Wyo. — The People’s Market will return to the Center for the Arts Park next week. The summer season of markets will begin on Wednesday, June 1 from 4 to 7 p.m.
The market moved to The Center Lawn last year.
“The return of the People’s Market marks the beginning of another local growing season in the Tetons,” says Scott Steen, Executive Director of Slow Food in the Tetons.
The People’s Market sources vendors from across the region with 120 local and regional farm, ranch, and packaged food vendors selling at the market in 2021. Over 8,500 attendees in 2021 resulted in $441,000 in direct-to-consumer sales.
Scott Steen notes, “We require all prepared and packaged food vendors to use local ingredients in their products, so look for weekly local ingredient cards at market vendor booths highlighting producer partnerships.”
The People’s Market is held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesdays, June 1-Sept. 21. There will be no market on July 13.
Market patrons are encouraged to walk, bike, or ride the START Bus to The Center Park. Please note that The Center Park does not allow dogs.
